“Our trip was booked six months in advance. The staff at the Italian Institute remained in touch with us, were very conscientious in making sure we had access to help from Europe if needed, which it wasn’t. I felt like the Italian Institute staff stayed on top of everything and really wanted our trip to go well. Each time I was scheduled to meet with someone for transport to and from airport, a day excursion, the guide was there waiting for me with a sign. I didn’t have to wonder if someone was going to show up.  The tour guides we had were outstanding. I learned so much about art, art history, history, current day events and politics. The tour of Rome was outstanding. We saw at least 10 historically important, and some less well known sites. I’ve been to Rome twice before but learned so much more. I now feel like I “get” the city!”

“This was an amazing adventure and vacation! With the help of the Italian Institute, we developed a vacation plan that took us through some familiar Italian sites and into many new ones. We had some ideas as to what we wanted to see and areas that we wanted to go to. The additional knowledge of Nicola helped to fill in some gaps and see some sites that we would have probably missed. The arranged tours and transportation intervals really made it easy to see more of Italy than we might have seen if we had arranged it ourselves. We spent two one hour meetings (initial and near-departure follow-up) with Nicola to set and finalize most of the events/plans; the rest was managed on-line or by phone. Very easy, personable, and customer focused.”
