Whether you are traveling to Italy or want to delve deep into the specifics and grammar of Italian, the Italian Institute has the right course for you.

On-Line Italian for Travelers
Italian for Travelers teaches basic Italian, including greetings, questions, directions and phrases. Our teaching method emphasizes language tools that will teach you the fundamentals and give you the ability to communicate with your own original phrases. We also provide you with cultural information, in order to have you familiarize with the Italian way of life. Our goal is to help you feel confident in your linguistic ability.
Published class times are based on a minimum of four students. If class enrollment is less than four, we reserve the right to cancel the class or reduce class time.
On-Line Italian in One Year
This course is designed for beginning students that want to immerse themselves and reach basic fluency in nine months. The course will provide the necessary tools to develop communicative competence in the four major abilities: listening, speaking, reading and writing. It goes through Italian 101 (2 hours classes from 9:00am to 11:00am for the morning course or 6:00pm to 8:00pm for the evening course), Italian 102 (2 hours classes from 9:00am to 11:00am for the morning course or 6:00pm to 8:00pm for the evening course), Italian 103 (2 hours classes from 9:00am to 11:00am for the morning course or 6:00pm to 8:00pm for the evening course) and beginner conversation topics and contents (2 hours classes from 9:00am to 11:00am for the morning course or 6:00pm to 8:00pm for the evening course).

On-Line Italian 101
This introductory course teaches the fundamentals that will allow you to speak, read and write basic Italian. We teach grammar principals including the use of nouns, articles, adjectives, prepositions and present tense verb conjugations. We also explore Italian culture through conversation, readings and the grammar exercises. Acquire an authentic knowledge of Italian through our emphasis on pronunciation and idiomatic expressions.
On-line Italian 102
The course continues teaching the fundamentals already started in ‘Italian 101’. Improve reading and pronunciation skills already acquired. We explore hobbies, shopping, restaurant and food vocabulary. We teach modal verbs, basic irregular verbs, reflexive verbs, and we introduce ‘passato prossimo' tense. Prerequisite: you must have completed Italian 101 or equivalent to enroll.
On-Line Italian 103
This is an overview course that aims to improve and reinforce previous knowledges acquired. It focuses on listening and conversation proficiency. We analyze grammar topics and exercise more. Your instructor will provide extra material and various activities to do in class together. At the end of this course you complete a level A1.2 in accord with Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Prerequisite: you must have completed Italian 102 or equivalent to enroll.

On-Line Beginner Conversation
The focus of this course is speaking Italian and the goal is to expand upon your basic communication skills so you fill comfortable expressing your thoughts and ideas in Italian. Prerequisite: you must have completed Italian 102 or equivalent to enroll.

On-Line Italian 201
This intermediate level course expands previous skills and knowledges acquired. Students will handle longer texts and more complicated grammar structures, such as indirect pronouns, imperfetto tense, conditional tense and compare quantities and characteristics. Acquire the ability to describe situation, appearances and locations. We teach how to talk about habits in the past and express opinions on common topics. Prerequisite: you must have completed Italian 103 or equivalent to enroll.
On-Line Italian 202
The course continues teaching the structures already started in ‘Italian 201’. We teach how to ask permission and give advices and recommendations in everyday life situation. We teach grammar principals including relative pronouns, indefinite pronouns, future tense and ‘trapassato prossimo’tense. Prerequisite: you must have completed Italian 201 or equivalent to enroll.

On-Line Italian 203
This is an overview course that aims to improve and reinforce previous knowledges acquired. It focuses on conversation proficiency, but also on writing and comprehension of longer conversations, various listening exercises of authentic material. We analyze grammar topics and exercise more together. Your instructor will provide extra material and various activities to do in class. At the end of this course you complete a level A2 in accord with Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Prerequisite: you must have completed Italian 202 or equivalent to enroll.
On-Line Intermediate Conversation
We will be focusing each week on a new topic of interests, read and discuss together brief texts and authentic articles, be able to talk about past experiences, tastes, and opinions in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

On-Line Italian 301
Italian 301. You must have completed Italian 203 and/or Intermediate Conversation level. You will begin level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This level provides students with the tools necessary to develop communicative competence in the four major language abilities of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, while placing emphasis on some aspects of the Italian culture. Goals of the course: students should be able to comunicate in Italian with confortable dialogue, using grammatical structures and vocabulary.
On-Line Italian 302
Italian 302 provides students with the tools necessary to develop communicative competence in the four major language abilities of listening, speaking, reading, and writing, while placing emphasis on various aspects of the Italian culture. Goals of the course: students should be able to comunicate in Italian with meaningful dialogue, using grammatical structures and vocabulary to attain better oral proficiency will be able to read and comprehend level appropriate reading selections

On-Line Italian 303
Italian 303 provides advanced level students with the tools necessary to develop communicative competence in the four major language abilities of listening, speaking, reading, writing and perfect their knowledge of vocabulary and grammatical structures. Improve their reading and writing skills in Italian while placing emphasis on various aspects of the Italian culture.no class - 11/25 - 12/23 - 12/30
On-Line Advanced Conversation
We will be focusing each week on current issues, read and discuss together long texts; contemporary Italian literature novels, newspapers articles, be able to talk and analyze videos and films together.
Prerequisite: you must have completed Italian 303 or equivalent to enroll.

On-Line Master Conversation
The main focus of this course is to practice conversation by reading books and analyzing their topics. The goal is to make students able to talk like Italians will do.

Starting from September 1st, 2024, all online classes conducted by Italian Institute Ltd will be recorded for the benefit of enrolled students. - Access to Recorded Sessions
- Enrolled Students Only: Access to the recorded sessions is exclusively available to students who are officially enrolled in the respective class.
- Access Mechanism: Recorded sessions will be made available via a secure link, which will be provided to enrolled students.
- Duration of Access: Recordings will be accessible for up to 45 days.
- Restrictions on Use
- No Sharing: The recorded class links are intended solely for personal use by the enrolled students. Sharing these links with non-enrolled individuals is strictly prohibited.
- Confidentiality: All content within the recordings remains the intellectual property of Italian Institute Ltd and must not be distributed or shared outside the enrolled student group.
- Teacher Protection
- Consent: All instructors are informed that their classes will be recorded and have consented to this recording as part of their employment or contractual agreement.
- Privacy: Recordings are intended solely for educational purposes and will not be used for any promotional or commercial purposes.
