Course Credits & Transfers:
Published class times are based on a minimum of four students. If class enrollment is less than four, we reserve the right to cancel the class or reduce class time.
If you cannot attend a course you must contact the registration office at least 72 hours prior to your first class meeting.

With 72 hours notice:
A course credit voucher will be issued to you towards a future class. The voucher is good for one year from date of issue and cannot be redeemed for cash. A $15 transaction fee will be charged for the dropped course, reducing your total credit voucher by $15.
With less than 72 hours notice:
A credit voucher for 50% of the course's tuition will be issued to you. The voucher is good for one year from date of issue and cannot be redeemed for cash.
With 24 hours prior notice to a missed lesson, one recovery class is available per 11-week program. Class needs to be schedule directly with you teacher.
Private classes:
With 24 hours notice:
A credit voucher will be issued to you. A $15 transaction fee will be charged for the dropped class, reducing your total credit voucher by $15.
With less than 24 hours notice:
Same day cancellations you will be charged full price for the scheduled class.
If you do not call to cancel your class or do not show up for your scheduled class, you will be charged full price for the scheduled class.
Refunds & Check Fees:
Refunds are given if Italian Institute cancels a class. Tuition and fees are subject to change. A service fee of $35 will be charged for each returned check.
Inclement Weather:
Italian Institute rarely cancels class for weather. Only if the city shuts down do we shut down. If the buses are running, we're most likely open. Call 1-800-928-4602 for a "go/no go" update. If cancelled, classes will be rescheduled or vouchers for other classes will be issued.

Instructors come from the community and are experts in their fields; however, they are not required to have teaching credentials. Italian Institute strives for quality but cannot be held liable for the content taught by instructors who function as independent contractors
